Welcome to Place Michel Vermughen

The true beating heart of Beuvron-en-Auge, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, Place Michel Vermughen offers a dazzling journey back in time. Surrounded by old inns and sumptuous half-timbered houses with delicately colored beams, it embodies the quintessence of Norman architecture and charm. At its center, the wooden market hall rises as the natural gathering point of a village that has preserved its convivial spirit of yesteryear. Place Michel Vermughen is the historic central square of Beuvron-en-Auge. Surrounded by an exceptional collection of half-timbered houses dating from the 15th to the 18th centuries, it houses a wooden market hall at its center. It is the village's meeting place, hosting farmers' markets, craft fairs, and traditional events such as the famous Cider Festival.
