LE Jeune choeur du pays d'auge
Call for applications
internship from July 28th to August 2nd, 2026
Do you sing or have you sung in the past? Do you want to deepen your practice, get back on stage and discover new repertoire in a warm, festival atmosphere?
The Promenades musicales du Pays d'Auge offer you in 2026 the Jeune chœur du Pays d'Auge , a 6-day choral singing workshop combining participation in two professional productions of the edition and a presentation of a dedicated program during the closing evening of the festival.
In 2026, the workshop will be led by Priscilia Valdazo , choir director and head of the voice department
at the Caen Conservatory and Orchestra. You will work on a varied repertoire ranging from Mozartian choruses to Bach cantatas, alongside soloists Camille Chopin (Adami Revelation 2023 and Opéra Generation 2025 Lyric Artist), Lysandre Châlon (a rising star of the operatic scene) and the ensemble Correspondances conducted by Sébastien Daucé , and you will present a third program entirely dedicated to
Youth choir.

Priscilia Valdazo
Priscilia Valdazo is currently the choirmaster at the Caen Conservatory and Orchestra, where she directs numerous choirs, including the Chamber Choir. Previously, as choirmaster at the Caen Children's Choir School, she was responsible for preparing the choirs and soloists for productions and tours, and led cultural outreach activities. She regularly conducted the Children's Choir School, notably for programs of jazz, songs, and world music. As a singer, her latest album, Tendre Barbara , was very well received by the public.
