British Cabaret : The Beatles under the stars: Agathe Peyrat, Pierre Cussac

After the grandeur and elevation of the symphony anthems under the vaults of the abbey church of Saint-Pierre-en-Auge, the atmosphere in the cloister is more relaxed, toffee and after eight. Trained in classical and contemporary voice in France and England, soprano Agathe Peyrat sings and plays baroque and opera, creation and musical theater. And when she slips away from the big French ensembles, she tours with her ukulele in the company of accordionist Pierre Cussac on backing vocals in order to distribute bubble gum hits and sparkling pop rocks. This evening, in Purcell's more or less legitimate family, it is the dazzling youth of the Beatles that we hear. “Oh, I believe in yesterday...”
