The musician is an athlete (almost) like any other! Can we imagine the physical condition necessary for a high-level professional musician? Besides, don't we say that an athlete is a virtuoso in his discipline? At the Concerto Marathon, only athletes of their art line up: daily training, repetition of the perfect gesture, gift of listening to oneself and others.
Comfortable in their sneakers, bringing together a family audience around a repertoire of gold medalists – Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi... – the musicians, equipped with period instruments, stage the concerto at the 21st century style: a festive competition, a hair-raising battle. They are the champions! Performance, resistance, dazzlingness – Olympic form is a musical virtue. We are only waiting for Nelson Monfort to comment.
