Les Promenades musicales on the double : Saman & Igor Bouin Quartet

In Deauville, we come as a family to the Clairefontaine racecourse for the relaxed atmosphere. The four singers of the Saman Quartet – lively jackets, without hats! – are accompanied by Igor Bouin as Ringmaster. As if springing from the stalls in the paddock, in front of the stands, on the green grass between two races, they naturally impose their musical shimmer on unexpected moments where folk traditions, subtle compositions and a spellbound audience mingle. Not surprising when we know that the word “saman”, in Indonesian and Icelandic, relates to the idea of being “together”.
