À propos de l'évènement

At the end of the Chartreuses of the Château de Canon, walled gardens where perennials and roses bloom, there is Pomona, divinity of fruits and abundance. At the heart of Lucile Richardot's recital, the irreverent abundance of tunes drawn like euphoric milk from Les Mamelles de Tirésias : carnival of the genre, reversal of roles, horror of war, to a farcical text by Apollinaire and music by Francis Poulenc , here more thug than monk.

We can easily imagine our teller Lucile as Thérèse feminist turned surrealist Tiresias, right? “It’s not because you courted me in Connecticut / That I have to cook for you in Zanzibar.” Rare in this repertoire, his partner Adam Laloum is one of the great pianist-poets of our time, who we know cultivates, among other arts, that of surprise! We found him the next day at the Orbec cultural center.
