Blending popular melody with harmonic refinement, Kosma composed some fifty songs based on the texts of the protest poet. These little masterpieces are performed with brilliance and passion by mezzo-soprano Fiona McGown and pianist Joséphine Ambroselli, both chamber musicians at heart and passionate about melody. Fiona's luminous voice, with its warm timbre, blends its supple and light notes with Joséphine's confident and colorful performance. Both use their multiple talents, as actresses and musicians, to highlight, with the humor and rebellious instinct that characterize them, this rich and eclectic repertoire.
