description

in detail

At La Filature des Possibles in Lisieux, the voice-guitar duo of Chloé Breillot and Pierrick Hardy takes the little ones into their musical girth. Although the singer hosts lyrical workshops in Mortain-Bocage’s native country, a part of her heart and voice never really moves away from the lands of fado, the popular Portuguese song. There is not very far from the nostalgic hope of fado to the maternal tenderness of the lullaby.

For 0-3 year olds.

11 AM: UNEXPECTED

In the port of Honfleur, the Lunaisiens sing folk songs with salty, cheeky voices. They spin and play and live life to the fullest, on the cobbled quays, untouched by the passing of time...

5 PM AND 7 PM: CONCERTS - THE HUMAN COMEDY BALZACIAN SONGS

From the street to the living room, from the common people to the scholars, the Lunaisiens unfold the sung score of our Human Comedy. A concert that gives color and voice to Balzac's characters in the dreamlike setting of the Forge de Honfleur.

6:30 p.m.: VISIT

Discover the history of wash houses around the Saint-Hymer wash house (in partnership with the Terre d'Auge Tourist Office). Free upon reservation.

8 PM: CONCERT - THE LADIES' SECRET CONCERT

Behind the closed doors of the Renaissance, women's voices rise in secret. With the Concert des Dames, the Ensemble Correspondances breathes new life and light into these precious polyphonies, born in the shadows of palaces and convents.

10 p.m.: CONCERT - JB GAUDRAY TRIO: THINK TWELVE

At the end of the evening, the trio of Rouen guitarist Jean-Baptiste Gaudray, with Laurent Meyer on tenor sax and Clément Landais on double bass, tints his very melodic jazz with the colors of the night...

find out more about the artist!

Pierrick Hardy is a composer, arranger, guitarist, and clarinetist. Throughout his career, his music has been enriched by diverse influences, drawn from classical, contemporary, traditional, and jazz repertoires, as well as from the visual arts and literature. Based on his own unique style, which he develops with other musicians or solo, he has participated in numerous projects: the guitar solo Lignes d'Eire, which he has performed in France and Japan, among others; as well as the Acoustic Quartet L'Ogre Intact with Catherine Delaunay, Regis Huby, and Claude Tchamitchian. He has worked as an arranger and performer on numerous projects, including with Bolivian singer Luzmila Carpio (Le chant de la terre et des étoiles), with singer Annie Ebrel (Roudennoù), and with Nicolas Krassik, Laura Littardi, and Bijan Chemirani. His latest composition for orchestra, saxophone, and taiko, "Entre ciel et terre," was commissioned by the Orchestre de Normandie and premiered in April 2023 with soloists Nori Kajio and Jean-Marc Larché. He has also been a teacher for many years and works in numerous recognized institutions: CMDL, CNSMDP, ARPEJ, Ecole les Glottetrotters, etc. After classical training (piano, organ, musicology), Chloé Breillot joined the Mikrokosmos choir (directed by Loïc Pierre) between 2008 and 2012, with which she performed in Japan and in international choral competitions, as well as in numerous concerts throughout France. She then studied singing at the Glottetrotters school (directed by Martina A. Catella), where she discovered vocal techniques associated with world music. Since 2010, she has sung as a soloist and sometimes instrumentalist in small ensembles emphasizing polyphony and popular and traditional music from different regions of the world (Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Argentina, etc.). Her favorite field remains fado. She is also the author of a musical tale for young audiences as well as several songs. Passionate about the transmission of song and polyphony, she is also a choir director. Introducing the duo Duo Chloé Breillot and Pierrick Hardy Fado and other Portuguese-language songs As a duo, Chloé Breillot (vocals) and Pierrick Hardy (guitar) explore the world of Portuguese-language music, inspired in particular by the beauty of Lisbon fado and Brazilian song. The pieces performed, chosen for their power and poetic brilliance, recount with the truth of popular songs desire and pain, love, absence, and mourning. In this duet, vocals and guitar interact without hierarchy, revisiting these compositions through atypical arrangements. A stroll in original language through these repertoires of yesterday and today, to which Pierrick's shimmering playing and Chloé's striking voice give a new lease of life. Since the project's inception in 2022, the duo has performed at around sixty concerts throughout France, at festivals such as Les Suds in Arles, Les Musicales de Mortagne et du Perche, Les Arches en Jazz, the Chaillol Festival, and in venues such as the Théâtre de Caen, the Théâtre de Nogent-sur-Marne, the Comptoir-Halle Roublot, the Collège des Bernardins, the Carré du Perche, the Maison du Portugal, as well as in Lisbon at the famous "Tasca do chico." In 2023/2024, they were invited by the Montreuil Conservatory to carry out a year-long project with children from Montreuil schools. Their first album, Valeu a pena, was released on June 4, 2024.
