A little boy's escapade with his father, a wind band conductor, on a musical summer camp. Without flashy colors but with fanfare, without special effects but with drums and trumpets, in a world of textures and animated sounds that is a bit reminiscent of a play mat weathered by time. We even hear Schubert's Trout playing...

Welcome to the Concorde cinema

COMPANY

Ideally located in the heart of Pont-l'Évêque, the listed art house cinema "Le Concorde" is a must-see cultural venue in the town, attracting both Pont-l'Évêque residents and many residents of the Pays d'Auge region from a wider area. Benefiting from the proactive policy of the "Cinema Le Concorde" association, which dynamically manages this theater with an ambitious and diverse program (particularly for art house screenings), "Le Concorde" offers a cinema open to all styles. IMG_1387In 2010, renovations were carried out to meet several objectives: modernize the cinema, improve the comfort and acoustics, enhance user safety, and provide accessibility for people with reduced mobility. For this renovation, the cinema received financial support from the National Center for Cinematography, the Regional Council, and the General Council. In September 2012, the cinema was equipped with a digital projector. State-of-the-art, this projector delivers a 4K image (4096 by 2160 pixels), a resolution 4x higher than current HD televisions. The result: a larger image, more vibrant colors, and increased contrast for even greater immersion. See you in October to discover and experience this new digital experience!
