Written in 1931 by Cécile and Jean de Brunhoff – Madame told the story to her children, Monsieur drew the illustrations for the album – the first Babar in the series became, in the 1940s, a musical tale: Francis Poulenc improvised it on the piano to successfully entertain the household where he lived....

Welcome to the Merville-Franceville market
The Merville-Franceville market takes place on Thursday mornings year-round in the shopping hall on Avenue de Paris, and on Sunday mornings only in the shopping hall. In July and August, a summer market brings the resort to life on Sunday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Solo bassoon of the Paris Opera at 23, Théo plays the greatest solos with the greatest chefs: Philippe Jordan, Paavo Jarvi, Fabio Luisi or Gustavo Dudamel. Trained in Caen with Marianne and Jean-Claude Montac, he entered the CNSM of Paris in the class of Gilbert Audin at 17. He also works with Laurent Lefevre and Dag Jensen in Munich. At 19, he won the international competition in Muri, Switzerland. He performs in France and abroad: CRR de Caen, La Camerata du Havre, Musicasa Concert Hall of Tokyo and at the Komitas Museum-Institute of Yerevan. He works alongside brilliant performers such as Marc Trénel, Gabriel Pidoux, Joe Christophe, Davit Melkonyan and Selim Mazari. He gives masterclasses in France and abroad: CRR of Caen, CNSM of Lyon, CNSM of Paris, Komitas Conservatory of Yerevan and Aichi Chamber Orchestra of Nagoya. He specializes in the work of reed, material of the bassoonist reeds, and goes to meet great French and foreign specialists, up to the master of Armenian reed. Free listener at the Louvre museum and art enthusiast, he works with the painter Gabrielle Thierry on synesthesia music and painting.
